I found it to be very fun, but not as repayable once new things stopped being introduced, as the game could use another mechanic to keep it interesting (it got a bit tedious once I ran out of abilities). It was annoying how enemies could shoot through walls, often ruining my runs. I almost wish it were level based, so I had a clear objective and opportunity to reset my abilities.

Ah I had so much fun playing this game! Because of skill issue it definitely took me a little bit of time to get a hang of the controls but once I did it was smooth.  The overall design is very  well done. I love the enemy variety as well the level design. I appreciate a fully fledged tutorial. I definitely needed it and sometimes that is overlooked with the short time frames we have during a jam. Sometimes it felt like the hook didn't want to hook an enemy when I felt close enough to them with enough charges. Might've been a skill issue though. Overall great work! It definitely has the framework for nice, continuous gameplay that would keep people coming back for more.

Really liked your game. Its really polished the sounds feel great.

My game is also top down action game but yours inverts the formula and is really interesting.

Your game has inspired me with a few ideas on what could be added to mine.

I also wanted to do leaderboard but it was just out of scope for me.  Your looks great!

I never knew how much contempt I can hold for a couple stupid pixels in the shape of a mushroomman! It's really just that the spore hitbox is WAY too big. I got 4000 one game, and I can't get anywhere near that again.

Love the concept of the game. The art is also incredible, great job!

Very nice. I like the graphics and definitely a 10/10 on the theme. Juicy effects as well. 

Very cool art style and effects. Once i figured out the rhythm a little it became more fun, but the player can be frustratingly slow at times especially when you run out of charges on your abilities. It felt like the 10% speed boost should have been the baseline. The mushroom enemies are my nemesis. Great job, fun game!

Great artstyle and concept!

Really cool game! Love the art style, very nice use of pixel art and the explosions looks great! I'm impressed by the seemingly procedural map which goes on and on, its hard to implement this on such a constrained time limit. Simple game loop which fits the setting of this jam greatly.

This game gets 10 booms

Tutorial is very helpful and the gameplay is smooth. The animations are amazing! As of writing im 5th on the leaderboard but I might play more later to get up higher. Overall a really fun game!

It's unfortunate I'm just bad at the game :') can't kill more than like 4, even with all the abilities. Probably more to do with the fact I'm on a trackpad :]...

Overall tho, really clean game ya got here! (I really appreciate the tutorial :') thank you for providing that!)
